Twelve years of stronger.
Peak Form is a small, deeply involved coaching practice founded by Marcus Hale in 2014 — built on the unsexy idea that great coaching is mostly attention paid week after week, not viral programs.
A coach, a barbell, a ten-year obsession with form.
“Coaching is mostly attention paid, week after week.”
Marcus started Peak Form in 2014 in a 600 sq ft warehouse gym with three barbells, two squat racks, and a borrowed laptop. The first clients were friends rehabbing knees and shoulders the medical system had given up on.
Twelve years and 500+ athletes later, the practice has grown — but the philosophy has not. Every program still starts with a movement screen and a real conversation. Every week still ends with a coach reading your check-in and replying personally.
We believe the people getting in the best shape of their lives are not the ones with the prettiest workout splits — they are the ones with a coach who shows up.
Three pillars. No shortcuts.
Every program we build is anchored to the same three ideas. They are unsexy on purpose — because the work that compounds is.
Train the person, not the program
Every plan starts from your body, your history, and your real schedule — never from a generic template.
Progress over intensity
We build durable progress, not Instagram workouts. Deload weeks and recovery are programmed in, not optional.
Show up — every week
A real coach reading your check-in. Replying personally. Adjusting your plan. Not a chatbot. Not a quarterly call. Every week.
